W artykule przedstawiono stan techniczny konstrukcji hali ''Olivia'' w Gdańsku. Dalsza bezpieczna eksploatacja obiektu wymaga pilnego przeprowadzenia remontu. Technical condition of the „Olivia” Hall in Gdańsk is presented in the paper. The Hall, built 40 years ago, is close to failure. Steel, prestressed truss girders of the roof structure are the only existing example of this type of structure. Detailed, technical inspection of the structure was carried on including an inspection of the prestressing cable channels. Due to the atypical static of the roof structure, two different, three-dimensional FEM models were created to verify the magnitudes of the internal forces in the truss members. Further, safe exploitation of the hall is possible, but the repair of the roof structure is urgently demanded.
