"Zielona rewolucja": demolowanie i rewitalizacja w kształtowaniu przestrzeni publicznej miast

Abstract

Punktem wyjścia do rozważań podjętych w niniejszej pracy jest nakreślenie istoty dysfunkcyjności terenów miejskich, które stanowiąc bariery rozwojowe o zróżnicowanym charakterze mogą wymagać podjęcia radykalnych procesów naprawczych. Dysfunkcyjność terenów miejskich może się przejawiać w postaci stanu dezintegracji przestrzeni miejskiej. W celu weryfikacji tej tezy dokonano analizy wybranych projektów rewitalizacji terenów miejskich, które uwzględniały demolowanie elementów dezintegrujących w mieście i wprowadzenie na ich miejsce terenów zieleni jako przestrzeni publicznej. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych studiów stwierdzono, że tereny zieleni są istotną strukturą (re)integrującą współczesne miasta. Najwyższą podatność na tego typu projekty radykalnej rewitalizacji wykazują tereny komunikacyjne. The starting point for considerations presented in this paper is to outline the essence of dysfunctional urban areas as development barriers of various types that may need to be demolished as a part of revitalization process. Urban dysfunction can be manifested in the state of disintegration of urban space. In order to verify this thesis, there have been analyzed selected revitalization projects, which included demolitions of morphological elements disintegrating urban space and where green public space was implemented to (re)integrate the city. Based on the research results, it was found that green areas are important structure (re)integrating modern cities. Transportation used lands have the highest susceptibility to this type of radical revitalization projects.
