Seria Schritte / Kroki na polskim rynku wydawniczym
Abstract
The author presents books published in 2006 to 2014 from the series Schritte/Kroki co-financed by the Fischer Stiftung Foundation. She considers their position in the literary field as: canon, literature consecrated, “heretical”. Using the terminological findings of French sociologist Pierre Bourdieu, she determines the position of the publishing houses, the cooperation with the co-editors of the series, and the publication field from economic, symbolic capital perspectives. Thus, she tries to evaluate the degree of the series’ visibility on the Poland’s publishing market.
