Abstract
The requirements of the modern battlefield are the crucial cause of building a wide range of flying platforms, where weapons and sensors are combined into one common information exchange network. Therefore, the article is attempt to identify the phenomenon of network centricity in the Polish Air Force (POLAF) and to review technical solutions to enable the functioning of the POLAF in these conditions. Furthermore, the author has analyzed the functioning of the POLAF management system in terms of network centric system, and formulated the requirements to ensure its improvement.Wymagania współczesnego pola walki stanowią główną przyczynę budowy szerokiej gamy platform latających, na których uzbrojenie i sensory łączone są w jedną wspólną sieć wzajemnej wymiany informacji. Artykuł stanowi, zatem próbę zidentyfikowania zjawiska sieciocentryczności w SP oraz dokonania przeglądu rozwiązań technicznych umożliwiających funkcjonowanie SP w tych warunkach. Ponadto, autor dokonał analizy funkcjonowania systemu zarządzania SP w warunkach sieciocentrycznych oraz sformułował wymagania zapewniające jego doskonalenie.
