Buildings and their location - Polish Technical Conditions 2018 - Part III Buildings and Rooms
Abstract
This publication is a first volume of book series, which contains a translation of Polish Building Regulations (Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure of April 12th, 2002 on technical conditions to be met by buildings and their location (Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland of June 15th, 2002). This volume contains the provisions of Part III: Buildings and rooms. It is mainly dedicated to students of Departments of Architecture, however it may be particularly useful for foreign students that are studying architecture in Poland, which were deprived of the detailed Polish design requirements translated into other languages. In order to ensure transparency, Polish provisions are accompanied by a corresponding records translated into English. This book was also provided with drawings and comments that are a response to doubts and ambiguities of students, which were observed by author during many years of design classes carried out at a technical university. For these reasons this book can also become an assistance for Polish students. However it also contains design guidelines that could be helpful for architects and professional designers. Comments and descriptions of figures were introduced immediately below the related provisions. To distinguish additional text it was presented in bold, italic lettering. Every effort has been made to ensure that the translation is comprehensible to English speakers, and at the same time to fully reflect the meaning of the Polish version of the Regulation. However if you notice any errors or have other suggestions concerning the development, please contact me. Corrections will be made regularly.
