Abstract
“The Integrity of Man’s Development in Terms of Benedict XVI’s Encyclical Caritas in veritate” presents Benedict XVI’s vision of both an individual and the whole humankind. It is Christianity that seems to play the key role in today’s troubled world. Far from being confined to his / her earthly existence, a human being is open to transcendence and to finding his / her fulfilment in the life of the Triune God. The following questions have been raised in the article: the concept and the dialectics of development, development itself as man’s principal vocation as well as love in the truth as the prerequisite for the genuine development.
