Obszary gotowości funkcjonalnej a indywidualne możliwości poznawcze dziecka w młodszym wieku szkolnym
Abstract
The following text presents issues connected with neurobiological and neuropsychological bases of learning. The special emphasis has been put to compensating-transferring mechanisms occurring in the neural structures and underlying the foundations of brain plasticity. The author has determined the term “areas of functional readiness”, which refers to what a child already can and what is still distinct and complicated to him or her. Furthermore, the author draws attention to the role and place of the functional areas in the individualization of work with a child at early school age and points at the importance of a functional diagnosis aiming at interdisciplinary recognition of a child. The author also refers to the sphere of the nearest development which, to some extent, sets the course of a child’s education.
