Abstract
Publication concerns the psychological correlates of high school achievements. It includes theoretical considerations regarding the understanding of abilities, the learning process and selected psychological variables of functioning of students with high school achievements, such as personality traits, loneliness and emotional intelligence. The book also contains the results of research conducted among high school students in Poland and Ukraine.
