Abstract
Polish model of higher education is to be an open system of education with latest technological solutions, which should enhance efficiency, quality and cost-effectiveness. Modern educational technologies include mainly e-learning platforms. This paper presents the new world-wide trends in contemporary e-learning in comparison to Polish e-education and its condition. The authors suggest also the Business Process Management as a solution to support development of Polish e-learning.
