dc.description.abstractThe aim of the paper is to portrait some winning aswell as failing strategies in human resourcemanagement (HRM) in cross-border acquisitions inPoland. The focus is on barriers to interactions incross-border acquisitions that affect personnelmanagement. There is an assumption that effectiveovercoming of these barriers reduces tensions ininterpersonal relationships in acquisitions and thuscontributes to the winning HRM strategies.
