Citizens' legislative initiative – instrument of participatory democracy

Abstract

The present analysis of the citizens’ initiative mechanism includes a description of the current legal situation as well as a review of the citizens’ right exercise of the right to direct governance as practiced in previous parliamentary terms and the current, 8th term which began in November 2015 in Poland.
