Perspektywy rozwoju polskiego szkolnictwa wyższego w kontekście analizy kierunków ewolucji modelu polskiej edukacji
Streszczenie
Last 20 years have been a period of numerous changes in higher education all around the world, associated mostly with political and technological shift —including informatics resolution. Evolution of higher education centers should be understood as reforms in education policies and environmental changes of higher education sector. To systemize development model of education center, a division proposed by John Gooitzen Wissem has been used: mediocre age university (fi rst generation university), humbolt’s (second generation university), entrepreneurship (third generation university)30. Th e aim of this article is to portray following stages of models’ evolution if higher education centers as well as an att empt to analyze perspectives of higher education development in the context of discussed changes. Article is divided into several parts, in which, chronologically diff erent models of higher education centers are discussed, starting with traditional model, up to entrepreneurship model, as well as several new fourth generation models. Article ends with discussion over searches of proper Polish university model, which would be able to achieve success inducing development of Polish higher education system.
