Abstract
W artykule omawiane są wybrane tendencje w funkcjonowaniu współczesnej białoruszczyzny ujęte z perspektywy zarówno Białorusinów, jak i obcokrajowców. Krótko scharakteryzowano opinie naukowe i nienaukowe na temat białoruszczyzny oraz problemy nauczania języka białoruskiego jako obcego w kontekście nowych inicjatyw naukowych i społecznych popularyzujących białoruszczyznę.The article centres on specific tendencies within the contemporary Belarusian language from the point of view of both Belarusians and foreigners. It presents a short outline of academic and non-academic opinions concerning the Belarusian language as well as problems connected with teaching Belarusian as a foreign language in the light of the most recent social and academic initiatives aimed at promoting this language.
