Abstract
Artykuł nawiązuje do jubieluszu 200-lecia Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego i 60-lecia Katedry Białorutenistyki UW oraz jubileszy znanych białorutenistów. Omawiany jest najnowszy dorobek naukowy pracowników Katedry Białorutenistyki UW, bieżące białorutenistyczne wydarzenia naukowe oraz perspektywy badawcze. Część artykułu odnosi się do kontrowersyjnych kwestii pisowni białoruskich nazwisk i nazw państw w języku polskim.The article summarises academic achievements of prominent specialists in Belarusian studies in the light of the 200th anniversary of the University of Warsaw and the 60th anniversary of its Department of Belarusian Studies. It discusses the research of the employees of the Department of Belarusian Studies, current scientific events in this particular area of interest as well as recent research perspectives. A part of the article is devoted to the controversial issue of spelling of Belarusian surnames and names of countries in the Polish language.
