The modern man can be termed as homo ecologicus. This means that the ecological dimension of life is very important to him, and the concern to live in harmony with nature, especially with the rhythm of nature, manifests in the various activities, products, lifestyles and work that distinguishes him among other living beings in the world. However, human existence is not limited to the natural (bodily) sphere. For a man as a spiritual-bodily being, faith plays an important role. The Eucharist as the "source and he peak of Christian life" is the epicenter of religious life. The purpose of the research was to answer to the question whether modern man, who can be characterized by the term homo ecologicus, who attends the Mass is able to hear the content, that will confirm the rightness of his concern for nature? The texts of the Mass of the Roman Missal for Polish Dioceses were used as the study material. As a result of the query, a collection of texts of Mass prayers has been made, referring to ecological issues. As it turned out, liturgical texts unveil the nature as a value we should take care of. The Eucharist, as Pope Francis recalled in Laudato si’ encyclical is "a motivation for our concerns for the environment."
