dc.description.abstractThe aim of the research was to elaborate a model of determinants of skipass prices for the Polish ski centers. The study tried to obtain the answer for the question if skipass prices are determined by characteristic feature of ski centers and in what way. The additional result of study was a ranking of the Polish ski centers arranged on the basis of features determining the skipass price. Among nine analyzed factors, four of them are correlated with the skipass price: the total length of ski pistes, the difference of the height between upper and lower ski lift stations, the height of the highest ski lift station and the relation of the capacity of ski lifts to the length of ski pistes. The total analysis of the influence of independent variables on the skipass price revealed that the most essential influence had the height of the upper station of the highest ski lift and crowding on the ski pistes of the ski centre.en
