Local Public Energy Utilities: A Road to Improving Local Energy Security

Local public energy utilities influence the local energy security. On the one hand, their dispersed nature brings them close to citizens. On the other hand, this feature may affect the stability of the energy system. Against this background, the aim of the paper is to delve into the European approach to the issue of the local energy usage.
