dc.description.abstractThe aim of this paper is to present selected psychosocial deficits and resources of people serving imprisonment in the following areas: feeling of coherence, ego resilience, depression, fear, curiosity, anger, worry, social support, quality of life, intensity of religious attitude, religious and non-religious ways of dealing with stress. The analysis of the obtained results showed that persons deprived of their liberty experience significantly lower social sup-port in its informational, instrumental, appreciative and emotional aspects in comparison with the control group.en
