The process of socialization plays an important role in shaping the identity of each social individual. Socialization is a learning process in which a person learns the values, acquire knowledge and social skills in order to adapt to the norms and roles existing in a given cultural and social group. The sender of the rules essential for smooth functioning of the society, is usually a person who is an authority with knowledge and experience which are a measure of values and norms that shape a young person. However, the development of technology, consumer culture and globalization makes widely understood that not always the experienced person is a source of knowledge in the process of socialization - then we are dealing with reverse socialization. This article attempts to answer the question whether the reverse socialization process, in which the younger generation is the originator of values and rules necessary for the functioning of society affects the devaluation of the authority of the traditionalist.
