Nie tylko magdalenki. Kilka obrazów kulinarnej groteski w literaturze współczesnej
Streszczenie
The following article focuses on the issue of grotesque descriptions of food and
cuisine in contemporary literature. Thee main objective of the text is not only
to present how various writers (M. Bulgakov, W. Gombrowicz, T. Kowicki, St.
Mrozek, V. Pelevin, W. Szymborska and St. I. Witkiewicz) use grotesque in their
works, but also to analyze such images and their significance in literature. Basing
on a reseach material, the conclusion of the article shows, that the usage of
grotesque, irony, parody or absurdity in contemporary literary works is not only
authors’ way to suprise their readers, but becomes a$way of dealing with this heterogeneous, strange, modern world.
