The main objective of this article is proposition and FEM implementation in ABAQUS system a simplest class of hyperelastic constitutive models for transversally isotropic non-homogeneous materials. Used simplification is needed because there is no complete experimental data for transversally isotropic materials for large deformations. A key point for formulation of aforementioned constitutive models is assumption of additive decomposition of stored energy function into two parts: one connected with isotropic matrix and the other with the fibers family. Experimental data in such case can be determined in separate tests for isotropic matrix and for fibers family and combined via volume ratio parameter. Two hyperelastic transversally isotropic models of non-homogeneous materials are proposed and implemented in ABAQUS using UMAT subroutine written in FORTRAN code. Numerical problem of bi-directional elongation of plane strain slab with circular hole and circular reinforcement solved in this paper is treated as illustrative and benchmark task.
