dc.description.abstractThe hyperelastic model of elastomers proposed in the first part of this paper has been applied to the analysis of local buckling of rubber cylinders. The elliptical and circular cross-section cylinders for the axi-symmetric, shell and 3D models of finite element mesh are discussed. The finite element program ABAQUS v. 5.8 with the Riks-Crisfield algorithm has been used. The considered cylinders are without any imperfections of shape and they are made of homogeneous rubber-like material, which is stable in the Drucker sense. Different types of deformations and local buckling of elastomer cylinders are observed.pl_PL
