Abstract

Poems whose subjects are ‘heroes’ are unusual phenomenon in Rafał Wojaczek's poetry. Usage a concept of heroism and usage a form of sonnet (sonnet cycle) in most of this texts suggests that poet went into a polemic against polish romantic tradition and genre (sonnet). The author focuses on Wojaczek's genological games; she also shows some other possible interpretations of it and tries to describe and analyze the plot of whole cycle.
