Analiza prospektywna sektora agrobiznesu w aspekcie rozwoju obszarów wiejskich

Abstract

The article presents the prospective analysis of Polish agribusiness sector, which sheds light on the condidition of Polish agribusiness and its international potential in the preliminary phase of Poland s membership in the European Community. The economic analysis of the agribusiness subsystems shows both opportunities and threats the agribusiness sector is faced with, and, thus, helps to determine whether the sector can be attractive to companies and potential investors who are to shape its future development. An attempt has also been made to modify the already existing subsystems of the agribusiness sector since Poland s accession to the European Union has triggered the reorientation of institutions and economic units towards international cooperation, and contributed to new interesting opportunities in the area of agribusiness sector development.

W artykule podjęto problematykę analizy prospektywnej sektora polskiego agrobiznesu, która ma na celu zobrazowanie jego stanu i możliwości funkcjonowania na arenie międzynarodowej w początkowej fazie członkostwa naszego kraju w Unii Europejskiej. Szczególny nacisk położono na zaprezentowanie atrakcyjności badanego sektora dla aktualnie funkcjonujących w nim przedsiębiorstw i potencjalnych inwestorów, którzy będą w przyszłości stanowić o jego rozwoju. Podjęto również próbę modyfikacji dotychczasowego składu subsystemów sektora.
