dc.description.abstract | My paper revolves around the notion of God and deity in Franz Brentano’s interpretation of Aristotle’s theology which we can find in Brentano’s book I have translated into Polish – Aristotle and his Worldview (1911). The main idea is to show that Brentano was in fact inspired by St. Thomas Aquinas, although he wouldn’t admit it in the book in question. I am going to compare three concepts: Aristotle’s Unmoved Mover, the God of St. Thomas, and Brentano’s God/deity. | pl_PL |
