dc.description.abstract | The problem of persuasion has become one of the main objects of Polish and Russian linguistic studies. However, the term ‘persuasion’ is used in a variety of ways by different researchers. The aim of the article is an attempt to present the most common approaches to this phenomenon. The article shows how persuasion is perceived in Polish and Russian theories. Persuasion can be broadly defined as an intended process of influencing others by verbal and nonverbal means. The limits and forms of persuasion are, however, not clearly specified. | pl_PL |
