The author of this article, who is aware of the shortage of specialized literature concerning the connection between music pedagogy and IT, aims to pass on general knowledge of music-related IT to music teachers and present exercises which are based on working on a PC and which were created for the purpose of developing a child’s music skills. The aim of these exercises is to make it possible to assess students’ knowledge more quickly and to stimulate their interest in this subject. Additional studies show a new way to educate teachers with the aim of improving their skills in using digital technology during music classes. The topic of this article is interesting and up-to-date because it connects specialized disciplines such as pedagogy, IT, media education and music education. A thorough knowledge of these subjects improves music teachers’ versatility and skills as well as the quality of their teaching.pl_PL
