Steven-Johnson Syndrome is a rare disease. Most comprehensive ophthalmologists have only
seen 1-2 cases in their career, and of those most are chronic cases. The exact etiology and treat-ment remains
controversial since its first publication in 1922. This syndrome was first described by Albert Stevens
( Surgeon) and Frank Johnson ( Pediatrician ).
