Abstract

Use of car lights during the daytime in selected European countries. The article looks at the issue of using the dipped-beam and daytime running lights in 41 European countries. The author also reports on the recent changes regarding the installation of lighting and light-signalling devices on motor vehicles in the EU introduced by the Commission Directive 2008/89/EC. The article concludes with a brief summary.
