dc.description.abstract | The aim of this article is to show the process of evolution the Polish Security Service after the political transformation of 1989. At first, the author presents the structure of Security Service under the communist regime. Then, he provides an analysis of the reform of the Security Service and its consequences. After a short presentation of every special and intelligence agency, the author focuses on their actual tasks and purposes.
